Lee Stafford's Dry Shampoo for Oily Roots review! (and so my blogging experience begins...)

Well hello there, this is my first real post so bare with me, although, usually once i start babbling on about a product, there is no end to it.
What product am i talking about? This one here.
Me and my friend Kelly were wondering around Boots the other week for a friends birthday present and i spotted that all Lee Stafford products (apart from, i read, the argon oil products or sample products) were 3 for £12. That is brilliant.
In my opinion, from a money-less female, Lee Stafford's products are rather pricey. So, we jumped at this opportunity. Kelly picked herself up a tube of treatment for damaged hairand i grabbed a tub of hair growth treatment (which i most certainly WILL be reviewing?!?) but we needed one more item. It was actually Kelly that spotted this for me. It was right at the bottom in the corner, and was the only one left on the shelf. Dry shampoo for oily roots. Mr Stafford could not have described my hair better. My roots are so oily that not washing my hair for just one day means the next morning, you could quite possibly fry an egg on my head. No dry shampoos work for me in a decent price range so i grabbed this ...tin? Bottle? Spray can!

I used this dry shampoo just today, and was pretty happy with the results. I can safely say it has worked the best over any other dry shampoos i have used. I thought the spray would appear brown as that's sort of what the packaging indicates, at least i think so, as you can get Batiste dry shampoos specifically designed for brunette hair, henceforth appearing brown to blend in with the hair instead of looking like dandruff, but, to my surprise, it was just, well, clear. I sprayed it on my roots, quite generously although not too much as i want to see how long it will last me and if you really need that much.
After spraying the product on my roots, the instructions say to 'vigorously rub in the powder' to blend it all in and really get it working. My oily roots definitely did look cleaner and 'dryer' - in a good way! I didn't top up during the day as i was in all day and wanted to see how well just one go of the product worked. I would say next time i would probably spray it slightly on my roots again midway through the day as the effects did wear off although, to be fair, not a lot. The feel of less greasy hair lasted a good few hours, but again, a top up would probably be in order next time.

Unfortunately, the boots website is unavailable so i'm yet to find out the price. The second i know, i'll post it. I know it is more expensive than the average brand of dry shampoo, in the range of £5-10 (although i'm sure it's less than a tenner!)

The can is on the smaller side although a little goes a long way. I would recommend this dry shampoo to those of you with oily hair/roots. I think for people with normal-dry hair, batiste seems to do the trick for most people, and is cheaper!

Any other questions on this product are more than welcome! Let me know what you think, too!
